24 Solo follows the gut-wrenching story of Chris Eatough on his quest for a 7th World Title in the unforgiving discipline of 24 Hour Solo mountain bike racing. In the face of increased pressure from sponsors, new competitors to the sport and a pregnant wife, Chris focuses his entire season on one race. Dark horse Australian National Champion, Craig Gordon challenges Chris to a level of intensity and exhaustion that leaves one rider with severe blood poisoning.

Shot on locations in China, California, Wisconsin, Maryland and Georgia using High Def cameras, with an amazing array of camera angles set to an original music score from the award-winning Haik Music studio, 24 Solo shows the passion, excitement and intensity of the most grueling event in mountain biking. DVD includes over 50 minutes of extras, deleted scenes and commentary from the biggest names in the sport.

Gripped Films’ first feature length documentary Off Road to Athens, follows U.S. pro mountain bikers around the world for six months as they chase international points that determine who will fill the slots available for the 2004 US Team competing at the Olympic Games in Athens. Filmed in 9 different countries with a brilliantly orchestrated soundtrack this movie takes the viewer on a visual and emotional international roller coaster.

Shot and Produced by Gripped Films for National Geographic, these character reels were part of a series to pitch a new program titled either “Crowded House” or “Get A Life”. Challenges included minimal budgets, impossible turnaround times and one person for lighting, sound, shooting and editing. Mission accomplished!
